A woman and her son were killed when a truck hit a motorbike on Godagari-Nachole road at Kazipara Sautalpara in Godagari upazila of Rajshahi district on Thursday night.
The deceased were identified as Masuda, 55, wife of Shah Alam, and their son Masud, 24 of Godagari municipality area, reports UNB.
The accident took place around 7:00 pm when a Chapainawabganj-bound truck carrying a dredging machine hit the motorbike, leaving Masud dead on the spot and Masuda injured, said Khairul Islam, officer-in-charge of Godagari Model Police Station.
Later, Masuda died on the way to hospital.
On information, police recovered the bodies and seized the truck.
None was arrested in this connection. A case was filed.
