Warning against ‘fake’ sites, social media accounts using name of army

Bangladesh Army has issued a warning against 'fake' websites and social media accounts using its identity and urged people to be cautious about any propaganda involving the force.
The Inter-Services Public Relations Directorate (ISPR) issued a statement on Monday conveying the warning, report BSS and bdnews24.com.
The statement said, various fake websites, Facebook accounts and YouTube channels have been set up using the name of the Bangladesh Armed Forces and are spreading ‘various lies’ and ‘propaganda’ in an attempt to damage the reputation of the army.
It urged the people to refrain from such fake posts involving the military.
The ISPR also mentioned addresses of Bangladesh Army's official websites, Facebook page and You Tube channel.
