Two of three coronavirus patients recover, third shows positive signs: IEDCR

Two of the three people who contracted coronavirus have recovered while the third is showing positive signs, the IEDCR says.

Of the recovered, one has been sent home while the other is still in hospital as some of the individual's family members are quarantined at home, said Prof Dr Meerjady Sabrina, director of IEDCR (Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research) at a press briefing in the city on Friday morning, according to local media reports.

During the press briefing, she also said that no new cornavirus case was detected in the country in the last 24 hours.

"Samples of 187 people have been tested by IEDCR so far.  Twenty four people were tested in the last 24 hours.  However, none of them found infected with coronavirus," Mrs Flora said.

The IEDCR director urged the people with symptoms of coronavirus not to visit IEDCR directly for treatment.
