Three women hit, killed by bus while crossing road in N'ganj

Three women were killed as a bus ran over them at Kanchpur intersection in Sonargaon upazila of Narayanganj district on Thursday night.

The deceased were identified as Debi Rani, 40, Bashak Rani, 16 and Gita Rani, 25, reports a news agency.

The women were crushed under the wheels of a bus while crossing the road at around 10:30pm, said sub-inspector Abdus Salam.

Police seized the bus but could not arrest its driver.
