A teenage boy was stabbed to death allegedly by a young man at Pouli under Manikganj municipality area in Manikganj on Tuesday night.
The deceased was identified as Rakib, 17, a student of Manikganj Technical School and College.
Locals said Mithu, son of Monnaf of Kandapouli village, called Rakib out of his house around 9:00pm and took him to a maize field where he stabbed the boy indiscriminately, leaving him critically injured.
The victim was taken to Sadar Hospital where doctors referred him to Dhaka.
Rakibuzzaman, officer-in-charge of Sadar Police Station, said Rakib died on the way to Dhaka.
Police suspected that the teenage boy was killed over a drug-related internal feud, reports UNB.
