Samples of 10 people have been collected in Sherpur to ascertain whether they are infected with coronavirus.
Dr Mobarak Hossain, health and family planning officer of Sadar upazila, said the samples were collected until Friday.
“We’ve collected the samples and sent those to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital for test,” he said, adding that some of the suspects are being treated at isolation units while the rest have been asked to maintain home-quarantine.
The samples include that of an official of the Department of Livestock Services in Jhenaigati upazila, he added, according to UNB.
