RFL Gas Stove has donated Tk 0.2 million to Child and Old Age Care as part of its “Khuda Na Chula Joluk” (no more hunger, let stoves be lit) campaign, says a press release.

Md Nazmul Haque, senior brand manager of RFL Gas Stove, handed over a cheque of Tk 200,000 to Milton Samadder, founder of Child and Old Age Care, at latter’s Kallyanpur office in the capital recently.

RFL Gas Stove introduced the campaign in February to help people living at old age home. Through the campaign, the brand is donating Tk 10 from the sale of each gas stove for the welfare of elderly people at old people’s home.

Md Nazmul Haque said that the slogan of RFL Gas Stove is ‘a family member, tied up forever’. Parents are parts and parcel of a family. But, the parents who look after all members even in unfavorable situation are separated from family as children keep them in old age home snatching all ties.

He also said, “We have introduced the campaign to put a smile on the faces of the people living at old age home.”

Milton Samadder, founder of Child and Old Age Care, thanked RFL Gas Stove to come forward for helping the helpless old age people.
