Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in an overnight drive arrested five members of an international smuggling gang along with more than 43 kilograms of gold from Manikganj’s sadar upazila on Thursday.
A team of RAB-2 conducted the drive from 12:00 am to 5:00 am and detained the gang members, according to Assistant Superintendent of Police Mizanur Rahman (media) of RAB headquarters, reports UNB.
The details about the drive will be revealed at a press briefing later on the day.
