Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in a drive arrested an alleged arms trader along with arms from Losmanpur area in Shibganj upazila of Chapainawabganj district on Sunday night.
The detainee was identified as Abdul Karim (24), son of Emaj Uddin, hailing from Jaminpur Purbapara of the upazila, reports UNB.
Tipped off, a team of RAB-5 led by camp Commander Squadron Leader Mohammad Syed Abdullah Al- Murad, conducted the drive around 7:00 pm and arrested Karim along with a foreign-made pistol, six magazines, 14 rounds of bullets and a mobile set, said a press release.
