Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested two suspected members of banned militant outfit Ansarullah Bangla Team (ABT) from city’s Pallabi area on Thursday night.
The arrestees are Manjurul Islam Shohag, 26 of Sherpur and Shukkur Ali, 22 of Cumilla, reports UNB.
Tipped off, a team of RAB-4 conducted a drive around 9:45 pm and arrested them from the area, said assistant superintendent of police MizanurRahman (media) of RAB-4.
The elite force members also recovered some leaflets and some extremist book from the spot.
