RAB arrests 10 with yaba tablets in Cox’s Bazar

Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in a drive arrested 10 people and recovered 1,08,000 pieces of yaba tablets from their possessions at Kolatoli area in Cox's Bazar on Wednesday afternoon.

Aslam Sarkar, 40, an alleged narcotics ring leader in Rajshahi region, was among the arrestees.

Acting on a tip-off, a team of the elite force conducted a drive around 3:00pm and arrested 10 people when they went there for shooting of a music video under Sarker Production House.

The law enforcers recovered the contraband tablets from their car, said Major Ruhul Amin, company commander of Cox's Bazar camp of RAB-7, reports UNB.
