Police arrested a suspected drug dealer along with 130 bottles of Phensidyl syrup from Sachani Rautora village in Sadar upazila of Magura district on Saturday night.
The arrestee was identified as Chandu Mollah (35), son of Dhola Mollha, hailing from Rupati village of Sadar upazila, according to a news agency.
Officer-in-charge of Magura Sadar Police Station Ilias Hossain said a patrol of police conducted a drive and arrested Chandu while loading the consignment of the contraband syrup on to a truck.
A case was filed in this connection.
