Police have found a man with his throat slit in Moulvibazar’s Sadar Upazila.
Twenty-year-old Ripon Mia, a local businessman, was found dead in his shop in the Akhailkura neighbourhood around 10 am on Sunday, said Md Tofazzal Hossain, a sub-inspector of Moulvibazar Sadar Police Station.
According to Ripon’s father Kachhan Mia, he was to stay at the shop overnight. In the morning, Kachhan found the door to the shop open and his son’s body inside. Police then recovered the body, he said, reports bdnews24.
A deep cut was found on the neck and there were several injuries on the head, said SI Hossain.
