Police in a drive arrested eight members of a robber gang from Badamtoli area of old parts of Dhaka city Wednesday.
Media and Public Relations Department Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP), Masudur Rahman said, Kotowali thana police nabbed the robbers at the night and seized a boat along with Tk 2 million (20 lakh) from their possession.
Details will be informed at a press briefing Thursday, according to a local media report.
