Police in a special drive arrested 77 people from different upazilas of Satkhira district from Friday night to Saturday morning for being accused in different cases and on charges of sabotage.
Azam Khan, inspector of Satkhira District Special Branch, said that their team conducted drives and arrested 14 from Satkhira Sadar, 18 from Kolaroa, seven from Tala, 13 from Kaliganj, eight from Shyamnagar, 10 from Ashashuni, three from Debhata and four from Patkelghata upazilas, reports UNB.
A total of three cases were filed against the arrestees.
