PM reaches Abu Dhabi on way to NY for UNGA

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Friday reached Abu Dhabi on her way to New York to attend the 74th UN General Assembly.

A special flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines that departed Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 3:35pm landed at Abu Dhabi International Airport, UAE at 6:15pm (local time).

Bangladesh Ambassador to UAE Mohammad Imran welcomed her at the airport, reports UNB.

On September 22, the Prime Minister will depart from Abu Dhabi International Airport for John F Kennedy International Airport at 10:30am (local time) by Etihad Airways.

Ambassador Imran will see her off at the airport.

She will arrive at the John F Kennedy International Airport at 4:25pm (local time).

Mohammad Ziauddin, the Bangladesh Ambassador to the USA, and Masud Bin Momen, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Bangladesh to the UN, will welcome her there.

At the UNGA, the Prime Minister may place new proposals to find a solution to the long-drawn Rohingya crisis which is affecting Bangladesh badly.
