Natore court sentences two to life for murdering friend

A court in Natore on Thursday sentenced two young men to life term imprisonment for killing their friend in Gurudashpur upazila in 2015.

The lifers are Maruf and Fahad.

According to the case statement, Robiul Islam, son of Azizul Haque of Rashidpur village of the upazila, remained missing since he went out of home with his two friends on April 29, 2015.

Later, police recovered his throat-silt body from Chakolbil of the upazila three days after he reported to be missing.

Victim's father filed a case in this connection.

After examining all the records and witnesses, Natore district and session judge Rezaul Karim handed down the verdict, reports UNB.
