Minister for ensuring relief to everyone on list of recipients

State Minister for Shipping Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury on Saturday asked people involved in the various relief efforts to remain careful so that no name on the prepared list of recipients is left out in the end.

“At present, country’s connectivity is so strong and there is no way to dodge anyone as many people are involved in arguing unnecessarily,” he said while talking at a view-exchange meeting in Birol upazila of Dinajpur district, as a chief guest.

Stressing need for raising awareness about the coronavirus situation through counselling at the union and upazila levels of the country, the Minister said 95 per cent people of the country are following the decision of the government and it should not be right to evaluate Bangladesh by seeing thousands of people at the ferry ghats in the country.

Mentioning that under the courageous leadership of Sheikh Hasina, the coronavirus situation in the country is still at a tolerable level, the Minister said there are no irregularities in the country which will be considered an inspiration in future.
