A man was stabbed to death, allegedly by his elder brother, at Shahapur village in the Chuadanga Sadar Upazila on Tuesday.
The deceased was identified as Sujon Ali, 27, son of Abdul Hakim.
Quoting locals, police said Sujon had an altercation with his brother Abdul Kader over family matters around 9pm.
At one stage of the dispute, Kader stabbed Sujon indiscriminately, killing him on the spot, UNB reported.
Kader later turned himself in to police later that night, said Delwar Hossain, officer-in-charge of Sadar Police Station.
Sujon's body was sent to a local hospital for autopsy.
