A collision between a pick-up van and a CNG-run auto-rickshaw on Naogaon-Rajshahi highway in Chairman intersection area in Manda upazila, left a man and his granddaughter dead on Monday morning.
The deceased were identified as Ibrahim Hossain (56) and his granddaughter Rokaiya Akhter Mita (14), reports UNB.
Anisur Rahman, Officer-in-Charge of Manda Police Station, said that the accident occurring around 9am left the duo dead on the spot and three others injured.
