Human hauler registrations in the country witnessed a significant decline in 2018 compared to those in 2017.
A total of 1,423 human haulers were registered in 2018, while it was 3,393 the year before, according to the statistics provided by Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA).
At the latest, a total of 18,510 such mode of vehicles have been registered with the BRTA in the capital in 2018, it said.
The number of registered human hauler in the capital stood at 3,487 in 2016, the BRTA data further added.
