Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested a member of banned militant outfit Hizb ut-Tahrir from city’s Chwakbazar area yesterday, reports BSS.
The arrestee was identified as Abul Khayer alias Md Tuhin Islam, 33, RAB sources said.
The RAB also recovered a laptop, three mobile phones and a number of leaflets and books from his possession.
Legal action has been taken against the arrestee, the sources said.
