The government is working to bring all areas of the country under internet connectivity.
State Minister for Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Zunaid Ahmed Palak, MP, came up with the comment while addressing a programme held at BCC auditorium in the city on Thursday.
“The government is implementing various programmes including ‘Info Sarkar Phase 3 Project’ to bring internet connectivity in union level. Rural areas of the country will be covered under internet connectivity through these projects,” said Palak, reports BSS.
Bangladesh Computer Council (BCC) and Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) jointly arranged the workshop titled “e-Governemnt Master Plan Formulation”.
ICT division secretary Zuena Aziz presided over the function.
