The government has cancelled the gazettes of 1,181 freedom fighters.
The Ministry of Liberation War Affairs issued a notification on Sunday in this regard, report UNB and BSS.
The notification was issued in accordance with the decision of the 66th meeting of the Jatiyo Muktijoddha Council held on December 10, 2019 under section 7 (Jha) of the Jatiyo Muktijoddha Council Act-2002.
The notification regarding gazette cancellation is available on the ministry’s website (www.molwa.gov.bd).
