Three people were killed and five others injured following a collision between a bus and a human hauler at Rajendrapur area of Gazipur district on Monday morning.
Two of the deceased have been identified as Mizanur Rahman and Ratul.
Saiful Islam, officer-in-charge of Joydebpur Police Station, said that the accident took place in the morning when the bus collided with the human hauler (locally known as Leguna), leaving a Leguna passenger dead on the spot and seven others injured.
Among the injured, two other died on the way to hospital, according to a news agency report.
The injured were undergoing treatment at Shaheed Tajuddin Medical College and Hospital.
