A man was killed and three others injured in a clash between a gang of ‘gamblers’ and local people at Rajendrapur in Gazipur district on Tuesday.
The deceased was identified as Azizur Rahman (50), son of late Mainuddin, hailing from Uttar Rajashan area in Savar, a news agency reported.
Local said Azizur went to Bagerabazar in Gazipur for gambling with his gang.
Sensing the presence of the gambling team, locals went there and locked into a clash with the gamblers, leaving four people including Azizur injured.
Mohsinul Kadir, the Officer-in-Charge of Savar Police Station said, Azizur was admitted to Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmad Medical College Hospital where doctors declared him dead.
