At least four people were killed and 30 injured after a bus overturned on the Dhaka-Sylhet highway in Habiganj's Bahubal upazila on Thursday evening, police said.
The cause of the accident was not immediately clear. Also, the identities of the deceased could not immediately be confirmed, reports UNB.
The accident occurred around 6:30 pm when the Habiganj-bound bus overturned as its driver lost control, killing three people on the spot and leaving dozens injured, said Rakibul Islam Khan, officer-in-charge (OC) of Bahubal Police Station.
One of the injured died while undergoing treatment at Bahubal Hospital, added the OC.
