FM Associates, a full-service leading law firm in Dhaka and Chittagong, has stood by the poor people, providing them with essential commodities, amid the deadly outbreak of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) outbreak in the country.
Rice, pulses, potatoes, onions, salt, milk powder and soaps are among the daily necessities its employees distributed to the poor people, the law firm said in a statement issued on Saturday.
Assisted by Gulshan circle police, FM Associates said, they doled out the essential items in packs to the needy people in Dhaka city.
“Coronavirus outbreak has badly affected our economy and the people with low income are the worst sufferers,” the statement reads.
The law firm requested the affluent people of the society to come forward to help the people who are in dire needs of foods, medicine and others necessary items.
