The SP said police suspect militants were using the house to make bombs.

Meanwhile, UNB reports, the deceased could not be identified yet.

The deceased ‘militant’ along with his wife and a child rented the house only three days back, he said, adding that they encircled the house for conducting a drive inside.

The OC also said they detained house owner Azim Uddin for interrogation.

Police suspected that the wife and the child of the alleged militant were also injured in the explosion and they managed to flee the scene.
