Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) will begin the excavation of AD8 canal on Saturday to resolve the waterlogging problem in Ashkona area.
Mayor Atiqul Islam earlier visited the place and decided to excavate the canal within two weeks to prevent water stagnation problem of Ashkona, reports UNB citing a press release.
The canal of Civil Aviation authorities starts from beside the Hajj camp and stretches until the Le Méridien hotel.
