Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) on Monday continued distributing food among 2,500 homeless, destitute and poor people in the city amid global coronavirus pandemic outbreak.
As part its initiative, the DMP is providing the support among the poor children and people in 50 police stations in the capital aiming to alleviate their plights and sufferings, according to a press release.
Earlier on March 28, the DMP announced that it would stand beside the destitute people in those areas with the food from March 29 and continue until April 4 during the ongoing general holidays.
