Denmark has expressed interest to work with Bangladesh on different issues of climate change, including water purification, waste management, renewable and solar energy and reducing greenhouse gas emission.
Ambassador of Denmark to Bangladesh Ms Winnie Estrup Petersen said this while she paid a courtesy call on Bangladesh Environment, Forest and Climate Change Minister Md Shahab Uddin at Bangladesh Secretariat on Thursday (Nov 26).
Danish Ambassador also said Denmark would also help Bangladesh in fulfilling the goals of sustainable development, protecting the environment and enhancing organizational capacity. She also proposed to assist Bangladesh in achieving energy efficiency and showed interest in helping in the agricultural sector.
