Bangladesh has reported 32 more coronavirus (Covid-19) deaths and 2230 fresh infections recorded in the 24 hours to 8:00 am.
With these, the total deaths and cases now stand at 6,448 and 451,990 respectively, said the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) in a press release on Tuesday.
A total of 2,266 Covid-19 patients also recovered during the last 24 hours, rising the recovery rate to 81.17 per cent.
According to the DGHS release, a total of 15,018 samples were tested at the country’s 117 authorised labs during the same period, bringing the total number of samples tested to over 2.6 million so far.
