Three people died and seven others were injured as a truck hit a human hauler at Harikhali area of Sharsha upazila in Jessore on Sunday afternoon.
The deceased were identified as human-hauler driver Nazrul Islam, 55, resident of Baghanchra area, Alam, 34, son of Abdul Hossain of Navaran area and Roksana, 25, wife Liton of Chotanchra village.
Politan Miah, in-charge of Navaran Highway Police outpost, said the driver of the truck lost control over the steering and hit the human hauler, leaving 10 people injured.
Among the injured, the three died on the way to hospital, reports UNB.
