Residents of Sylhet breathed a sigh of relief as rain brought some respite from ongoing heat wave.
Sylhet Meteorological Department recorded 84.4 millimetres of rainfall in the past 24 hours, starting 6:00 pm on Friday to 6:00 pm on Saturday, according to UNB.
The situation of rainfall may continue, said Shah Md Sajib Hossain, assistant meteorologist of the Meteorological Department.
