Police on Thursday recovered the bullet-riddled body of an unidentified youth from Hilejor area in Kapasia upazila under Gazipur region.
When police went to the area after hearing sounds of gunshots, they found the terrorists had already fled the scene, said Additional Superintendent of Police Russel Sheikh.
Later, police recovered the body of the unidentified youth aged about 36. The body was sent to Tajuddin Ahmed Medical College and Hospital for autopsy, UNB reported.
A pistol was also recovered from the spot.
