Magura road mishap kills cattle traders

Two cattle traders have been killed after a Dhaka-bound cattle-laden truck from Jessore hit a roadside tree and plunged into a ditch on Magura-Jessore road at Jagla on Sunday night.

The victims were identified as Samad Khan (60), son of Felu Khan and Aminul Khan (30), son of Akter Khan of Manikganj.

They were taken to Magura Sadar Hospital in critically injured state where the duo succumbed to their injuries late at night, said Ilius Hossian, Officer-in-Charge of Magura Police Station.

A case was filed in this connection, according to a local news agency.
