A farmer allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself from a tree at Katakhali on the outskirts of Rajshahi city on Monday morning.
Local farmers spotted the hanging body of Mansur Rahman, 40, son of late Ezaz Uddin and informed police, said Officer-in-Charge of Katakhali Police Station, Nibaran Chandra Barman.
Police later recovered the body, UNB reported.
The reason behind the suicide could not be known.
