Two young men were killed in a road accident at Kanaipur on Dhaka-Khulna Highway in Faridpur sadar upazila on Thursday night.
Witnesses said the accident took place when a motorcycle crashed into a parked covered van around 10:00pm, leaving biker Rimon Mandol, 18, and pillion rider Rasel Talukdar, 20, dead on the spot, according to a UNB report.
On information, firefighters appeared at the spot and sent the bodies to hospital, said M Saifuzzaman, station manager of Faridpur Fire Service and Civil Defence.
