Carew’s hand sanitiser to hit market Monday

Carew & Co will release its health sanitiser in the market at an affordable price on experimental basis on Monday to meet the growing demand amid the coronavirus outbreak.

The company has started producing the sanitiser recently as part of a move of the industries ministry to protect the country’s people from COVID-19 and the sanitiser will be available in the market soon, reports BSS quoting a press release.

The country’s only state-owned distillery in Chuadanga is set to market the sanitiser at Taka 60 per 100ml bottle.

The sanitiser will be available in 16 shopping complexes across the country and in front of the Bangladesh Sugar and Food Industries Corporation (BSFIC) offices in Dhaka and elsewhere.

The Industries Ministry has also ensured cleanliness at its headquarters and its subordinate offices across the country. Use of thermal scanner is compulsory for the officials and employees of the Industries Ministry and its subordinate offices.

The ministry has also limited its official meetings, opened a whatsapp group and instructed the officials and employees to go to quarantine if they feel cold related problems.
