Bhaluka blast: Two others succumb to injury

Two more victims of the blast in a building at Masterbari in Bhaluka upazila of Mymensingh on March 25, died at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) on Friday, raising the death toll to four.

Dipto Sarkar, 22, of Magura, who was undergoing treatment at the burn unit of DMCH, succumbed to his injuries around 9:30 am, said sub-inspector Bachchu Mia of DMCH police camp.

Earlier, Hafizur Rahman Hafiz, 24, hailing from Naogaon, succumbed to his injuries at the DMCH burn unit around 1:00 am, reports UNB.

On Wednesday, Shahin, a final year student of KUET, died at the burn unit of the hospital around 12:30am.

Md Towhidul Islam, 23, a final year student of the same university, was killed and three others received burn injuries in the explosion. The injured were sent to the DMCH.

But now, all three injured have died while undergoing treatment at the burn unit of the hospital.

A case was filed against building owner Abdur Razzak.
