The government summoned the Myanmar envoy in Dhaka on Wednesday to express protest the latest influx of Myanmar nationals into Bangladesh.

Bangladesh also expressed concerns over the reported laying of anti-personnel landmine close to the zero line of the border by Myanmar security forces, reports UNB.

The Foreign Ministry of Bangladesh summoned Charge’d Affairs of the Myanmar Embassy Aung Myint on Wednesday and handed over a note protesting the issues.
