The authority of Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) has handed over seven bodies of the Banani FR Tower fire victims to their relatives.
The handover took place on Thursday night, local media report quoting sources at the country's largest hospital. The autopsy on another body began at 7:00am on Friday.
Relatives were waiting in front of the hospital to receive the bodies of their near and dear ones.
At least 19 people were killed and dozens injured in a fire in Dhaka's Banani, 36 days after another fire claimed dozens of lives in the city's old part.
