Air Chief off to Malaysia on four-day official visit

Air Chief Marshal Abu Esrar, chief of Bangladesh Air Force, left Dhaka on a four-day official visit to Malaysia at the invitation from Chief of Royal Malaysian Air Force on Wednesday.

His spouse and three entourage are accompanying him, says a media release.

During the visit, he will exchange views with defence minister of Malaysia, chief of defence force, chief of royal Malaysian air force and other senior military and civil high officials on bilateral issues.

Besides, Esrar will visit aircraft maintenance and overhauling company AIROD in Malaysia.

The visit will play an important role for strengthening the existing relationship between the armed forces of Bangladesh and those of Malaysia, the release said.
