At least 88 journalists were victims of harassment across country in the first nine months of the current calendar year, according to a report by an independent rights body.
Of them, eleven received death threats over phone, the Ain o Salish Kendra (ASK) report noted.
It also disclosed that 17 journalists were attacked and harassed by political parties and one was found dead under unnatural circumstance.
21 cases were filed against published news, the ASK data added.
207 journalists faced harassment in 2018, the report further revealed.
