21 eminent citizens will receive the prestigious Ekushey Padak this year.
The Ministry of Cultural Affairs disclosed the names of the award receipeints on Wednesday.
Ekushey Padak is the second-highest civilian award in Bangladesh.
Each recipient will get a gold medal, a certificate, and a cheque of Tk 200,000. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will hand over the Ekushey Padak to the awardees, reports UNB.
