Car registration in the country stood at 14,291 in the first ten months of the current calendar year, according to an official data.
Of the total, 12,827 cars got registration in Dhaka from January to October 2019, according to statistics provided by Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA).
A total of 18,227 cars were registered in 2018 while the number was 21,959 in 2017, it added.
