India has approved a recombinant nasal vaccine, developed by Indian multinational biotechnology company Bharat Biotech to combat Covid-19.
The country's Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya gave the information in a tweet on Tuesday, reports Reuters.
The Indian regulator approved the vaccine for primary immunisation of those aged 18 years and above, for restricted use in emergency situations, Mandaviya added.
