Coca-Cola resumes manufacturing facility in Mymensingh

Coca-Cola has resumed its manufacturing facility at International Beverages Private Limited (IBPL) in Mymensingh.  The operations began after successful inspection and appraisal by the Government Factory Inspection Authority officials on COVID-19 preparedness standards and checklist.

Tapas Kumar Mondal, Managing Director, International Beverages Private Limited, said, “As a trusted global brand, we are committed to ensuring the highest standards for food safety, food quality, and hygiene with a completely automated manufacturing process. We also maintain highest level of safety measures in our warehouse and delivery operations to provide safe and great tasting beverages to our consumers”.

“The COVID-19 outbreak has proven to be a global pandemic of an unprecedented scale resulting in a challenging time for all of us across the world. Since the beginning of this crisis we have adopted a purpose-driven approach to ensure complete safety and wellbeing of our people, products and customers while attempting to help the Government and communities to make a difference wherever and however we can.” He further added. 

Recently, towards the need to step up relief efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic, Coca-Cola in Bangladesh committed an initial support of TK 11.5 crores towards helping the healthcare system and communities through food package and distribution of beverages.  The relief programs initiated by the company in Bangladesh aims at benefitting and positively impacting over 5.0 million lives across the country.
