Bangladesh Institute of Bank Management (BIBM) recognized Md. Mazadul Hoque, an official of Social Islami Bank Ltd (SIBL) as a Certified Expert in Trade Services, said a statement.
BIBM recently certified him as he qualified for a detailed course on trade related issues practiced in the banks globally.
Mazadul joined SIBL in April 2012. Prior to joining the bank as senior officer, he served The Financial Express, the country’s lone English financial daily as a reporter. He regularly writes articles, views and analyses on recent and economic issues as contributor. He obtained graduation and post-graduation degrees in Economics from University of Chittagong. Later, he completed Master of Business Administration (MBA) with major in Human Resource Management (HRM) from Jahangirnagar University. He is going to join another trade services related course titled “Domestic and International Factoring” from FCI- a Netherlands-based institution.
He is a member of Bangladesh Economic Association (BEA) - a platform of economists.
